October is usually exciting because it means the end of the hot summer months in southern california, but this summer was relatively mild and there is a big heat wave now.

Since we don't really have seasons here, all I have to look forward to is the temperature change. I hope it happens soon!

Halloween is always fun, too. I don't go trick-or-treating anymore, but my friends and I always dress up and have a party together. It's a nice excuse to act like a kid again.

This year it also means I get my free Windows phone 7 soon!

It was just announced that the first phone will debut on the 11th. I don't know if that's when I'll get mine, but I hope so. I'm dying for a new phone, my G1 seems ancient these days. It's nice to work for a company that treats its employees so well. Thanks Microsoft!

I always tried to have my cosplays ready for Halloween. I've dressed up as Hojo and the Scout from Disgaea on a couple of years just to celebrate Halloween. I also cosplayed as Vincent too, which was fun! I was at an anime convention for that one.

I wanna do Alucard from Hellsing next, but I'm skipping this year due to funds.

I never seem to do much on Halloween. I pretty much sit at home with my friend and eat candy and play Super Monkey Ball 2 party games. Occasionally we'll get a knock at the door and give them candy but that's almost never as I live in a quart off a quite street.

I was more or less invited to a Halloween party, but I guess I'm not going anymore since there's only 2 other people who said they'd go. I'm thinking there could be more people, but from the sound of it not a whole lot of people like the host anyway.
