>>ESTABLISHING LINK...DONE. >>FETCHING POST DATA...DONE. >>EXECUTING POSTDISP.BIN... Messing with the "demo completion screen" code for BN1 on the Wiki, I found its equivalents for BN2 and 3 and mapped out all possible values for each that I could find:
Notice value 10 in BN2 and 3. From what I can gather on the net (near the bottom), that screen - artwork of the main characters plus "Congratulations!" text - is shown once you complete Hard Mode or something. I never finished the second game, let alone any kind of Hard Mode, so I don't know if that's correct. In BN3's Japanese versions, that value gives a similar screen with different artwork, while in the western versions, the game behaves somewhat erratic - never showing any art, sometimes continuing on to the title screen, sometimes not, I dunno. Is that another case of Capcom removing stuff, like they did with the plug-in and Navi Customizer intro animations? BN3's (or more exactly EXE3's) Congratulations screen, btw: ![]() ____________________ cu xdaniel |
