| Lately with the intense amount of studying I have been doing + new meds + crazy cat wanting loves in the middle of the night I haven't been getting much sleep. |

As I have gained experience being a student, I have started this strict sleep/study/time of schedual, which means I'll go to be at 22:30 on weekdays, and wake up at 6:30 (meaning if I could sleep all the time, I would get 7/8 hours of sleep). I get up this early in order to be able to go to the study halls at university at around 8 o'clock (no longer have classes starting that early, but I still show up, in order to get things done.), sit there + attend lectures until 16:00, and then I'm off! I do this, because I have learned the hard way what it means to fail courses and fall behind. No more excessive partying on weekdays.
Weekends, however, there are still no rules (set by myself), and I can just do whatever the hell I want. And it works, because I am no longer failing courses, and I am actually learning things, and I like it! So yeah, probably the best part is, I don't have to worry about studying on afternoons or weekends, because by then, I have already done my lot! However, this requires a lot of discipline... and since I'm still only human, I do not always follow this strict schedual, and that is ok, because at the same time, it is important to not burn out completely.. what would I achieve then? Yeah, this got to be about a little more than just sleep schedual, but as you see, it is not an isolated case. It relates to everything else I do as well. ![]() |

I usually got to bed anywhere from 2AM-3AM and wake up at at anywhere from 12PM-2PM. I really hate sleeping seeing how much of a waste of time it is, and I just don't like it overall. I'd rather be eating all or hacking. Well, at least I do get the suggested 10 hours of sleep even though I wake up tired anyway so I'm not seeing the point behind it. ____________________ "So remember, when you're feeling very small and insecure, How amazingly unlikely is your birth; And pray that there's intelligent life somewhere up in space, 'Cause there's bugger all down here on Earth!" |

10-02-10 08:29:57 PM Post #3685 You can figure out exactly when I'll sleep and for how long with a single line of C: printf("%u minutes from now, for %u minutes.\n", rand(), rand());
well OK that would be up to 9 days, some exaggeration, blah blah ____________________ |

I usually goto sleep at about 11:30-12:00 PM and wake up at 11:00 AM on weekends and 5:00 AM on school days. ____________________ CAKE - A SMW Hack. |

#55 Workdays: [anywhere from 9:00 PM to 3:30 AM] to 7:30 AM (more often late than early, mostly depends on how tired/bored I am)
Week-ends or days off: about the same or a little later, except I get my full sleep and usually don't get up before 12:00 PM ... I used to have more of a sleeping schedule before (if you could call it that), where I'd sleep from about 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, but I finally broke that a few years ago ![]() ____________________ |

Living on a college residence really screwed me up. Not to mention safegrad at the end of high school. What helps me sleep? Ambient sounds from outside, for sure. Also having street lights/moonlight streaming in through my window. ____________________ |
