There's a "kiosk" version of DK64 out there. I heard it includes lots of beta stuff, like test maps and such. (I saw it on YouTube but dunno where it is)

There's also supposed to be a link to Banjo-Kazooie in the game, IIRC.

I remember that this has something to do with the Stop N' Swap from Banjo Kazooie (or whatever the hell it's called), where you'd get items from that, or was it vice-versa?

I just remember reading about it on The Rare Witch Project a while back.

DK64 has a reference to the ice key from BK somewhere in the code. Also, in old promo shots of DK's house, DK used to have a shower with Banjo and Kazooie's faces on it.

That's pretty much the only connection that's been made between the two games. SNS was planned for BK, BT, and DK64. What DK64 would gain from it was/is largely unknown.

IIRC that one unused level you see in a pic in Banjo's house was redone for either Tooie or DK 64.

Look for instances of the strings MIO0, YAZ0 or YAY0. I've seen these in N64 games and all have decompressors available.
