Uh oh! It's time for nobody's favorite game show, "Is this used?" Super Mario Advance 4 edition.


I know some of these are unused (there are some switch effects that don't have switch cards), but I'm just wondering if any are used. These are stored with the rest of the graphics in the e-Reader screen.

Just from looking at the e-reader video, I don't even see anything like that.

Is anything like that ever shown when scanning? If not, all of those might just be unused.

I don't think so. They might show up if you deactivate a switch card. Otherwise no, they're unused.

It's been a while since I've scanned stuff in SMA4 but I don't remember any of those.

I've dealt with the e-Reader cards quite a bit in my quest to map the levels, and I can safely say I've never seen those. I recognize most of those switch effects, but some of those don't look familiar at all.
