LTTP is probably my favourite Zelda game

Isn't for my nephew, I can tell you that. Zelda 1, he died too quickly on and didn't play again. Zelda 3, he had made it up to the second boss (Desert Palace) and "couldn't kill it". Twilight Princess, he won't even leave the village without using cheats. >:|

He also detests Super Mario Bros. The first one, yes. seriously

How old is he? If he's really young, it might be a little understandable... eh.

I got stuck in the second dungeon in LTTP at one point, but I eventually managed to get through it.

                                                Strap him to a chair and make him like at least SMB and play LTTP and Twilight Princess right. Zelda 1 I can understand a little because it has terrible difficulty balance, as good as the game is.

I can understand dying quick in Zelda 1. When I got back into playing it a bit, I was all "I'm gonna do a Let's Play of this!" and then I died just a minute in, embarrassingly. Sounds like the little one doesn't have much patience though.

Yeah, we got Zelda 1 used and the save files already had a lot of the secrets revealed, so I ended up knowing exactly where many things were

I'd die a lot at first, though. If you don't find the heart containers, White Sword, Blue Ring, etc., you're a lot worse off.

Six hearts, White Sword, and Blue Ring before Level 1.

Oh yeah. I find it kind of bothersome though, that you don't get the Red Ring until the final dungeon. By that time, it's kind of all "What's the point?".

I need to go through and get ideas for a Zelda 1 hack. I think I'll keep in mind getting the Red Ring earlier...

Well, there's always Amazon or something. That's where I got my games for a while, but I think it gets kinda pricey over there for LoZ, so I'd be wary, especially where you might not be playing it.

It's certainly not a bad game by any stretch of the imagination, but that's just my opinion.

Me too. I'll also get the Magic Sword after level 4 and the eastern heart piece on the docks or whatever those are.

I think that's why I tend to find ZC quests hard. Usually, Level 1 just allows the Wooden Sword, no rings, and 2 hearts.

All of our Atari 2600 games are boxless. Both my dad and I thought it was odd that my uncle had the boxes to his Atari 2600 games.

Yeah, he was the only one in the family with an NES other than us for a while, IIRC. Maybe my other uncle and aunt had them, as they had kids.

The uncle with the Atari 2600 also had an NES and, at some point, an old Super Pong (?) machine.

Well boxed games are hell to find nowadays, at least for the NES. Though for good reason. They're also hell on the wallet.

Trust me, I'm an NES game collector with 330+ games. I know. :p

	I know my parents had an Atari and I remember seeing it when I was like 3(?) but I can't remember if I played it or not. So maybe I didn't start playing at age 4 but that's the first memory that I have. ____________________
