Having met Shadic this past weekend it got me thinking about meeting other Jul'ers. So if you had a chance to meet anyone from the board, who would it be? I was supposed to meet up with Shadic and Xkeeper on Monday but my in-laws had other plans already. (sorry about that Xk)

I'm hoping Anya will get a chance to come to Vegas again sometime. I've known her the longest of anyone here. It'd be nice to meet her and the Mister. They're a gaming couple just like me and my wife. I would like to meet Terra in person, too. You're kind and generous, great qualities in a real life friend (and good for online friends, too).

1. Had a chance to meet Xkeep in Vegas, twice, didn't happen.

2. Had a chance to meet Kirbynite and others in the Orlando area, never happened.

3. Think there's a few Julers in VA as well, near Manassass, never happened.

Now that I will be going up to Titusville/Coco Beach/Melbourne/Cape Canaveral area, I still doubt I'll meet anyone from Jul.

But at least I get to meet people from Twitter that I just met instead of meeting people that I've known for 9 odd some years.

So yea, sorry that I'm a little bitter. And I don't want to say who I would like to meet because it just won't happen.

The only Juler who I've met so far is Rick. I'd like to meet others, as well I plan to meet up with Shadic next week, although we haven't worked out the details yet.

It would appear Shadic has had many near-misses with encountering me, due to my proximity to Disneyland and occasionally to Las Vegas.

I'd mostly want to maybe see Xk once, most of the people I really want to see in person are from my IRC room, heh. You guys are good, but this place hasn't been stable enough for me to know most of you well enough to have much to say if I were to visit most of you. :p

Technically, at least one or two of those visits were work-related, and it wasn't really a "chance" to visit me if it counts for anything

These days it wouldn't be so out of the question, but I still maintain that I'm a lot less of a person to be around in real life.


(And yes, I managed to hang out with Shadic for all of about 30 minutes due to sheer luck and... that was about it, really.)

I also missed a chance to meet NSNick when I was in Ohio. Was with family and I didn't have a chance to get away.

Xkeep, it was twice and both were work related. Maybe if I do head out there next year, you, me and Orlandu (and whoever else) can meet up and hang out.

I honestly was more likely to meet people when I was back on the east coast, although being in LA I'm sure I must be close to SOMEONE now as for who I'd like to meet...I don't know. Anyone? I don't exactly know many people around here right now (read: three)

something like that what started as a really lame joke backfired when I forgot the password to my real account and, being far too lazy to get a new one and re-add my contact list, I continued to use that "joke" account since most people had already had it added anyway
