How would you like to spend your life? Ergo, what is your dream? Please try to keep it at least vaguely realistic. For instance, not stuff like "I want to win the lottery" or "I want to buy an entire country and be its ruler"

I'm not particularly interested in the "American Dream" suburban house with a big yard and as many cars as residents. I'd be happy in an apartment or condo close to downtown (not right in downtown because of the expense, but close, like where I live now). I'd eventually like a bigger place than this, though. Seattle is a pretty good city, and I'm likely to stay here. If the USA gets totally conservative-dominated again, though, I might try to live in Canada.

Being a lesbian, I'd want a female partner, of course, and not a husband I've never been a career person, so I'd like a partner who makes most of the household's money while I instead take up the old-school housewife/homemaker role, making some extra money from writing and/or part-time teaching. I pretty much always wanted to be a housewife, writer, or teacher, not these fancy office jobs with long commutes and boring dress codes and whatnot.

I definitely want at least 2 cute, furry cats Maybe children eventually, I'm undecided on them. Not too many children, or it would get unwieldy.

I wish I'd just moved out of Michigan immediately after high school instead of wasting years on a computer science degree that my parents had wanted me to have for their ideal rich and incredibly hard-working child they thought I would want to be.

Having the "American Dream" would be nice. But I'd prefer everything paid off. House with no mortgage, cars with no payments. We have 2 kids, so 1 bedroom each + master bedroom + guest room = 4 room house would suffice. Would have a "computer room" as we call them, too. Like an office. Also, a small 10-12 seat theater would be ideal. I'd be fine with 2 cars. The family vehicle (SUV or large "cross over"), and daddy's weekend car (2010 LS9 Camaro).

But what I would really love to do is not have any debts or houses/cars tying us down and be able to travel. I would need a job that allows me to work from anywhere. Be able to go to places like Africa, Australia, New Zealand, etc. Maybe be a photographer or photojournalist. Its not very practical with younger kids, maybe once both were over 10 years old.

Gah, now I want to get a nice DSLR camera again. I love photography but its just so darned expensive to go semi-pro.

No debt, enough money to help out my dad and father-in-law (both are going through issues with their mother).

Two cars so it would be easier for me to get to work and do things on my day off without having to take my hubby to work or to ask for a ride.

And enough money to not have to worry which bill to pay this month or how much food to buy at the store without being broke for the week.

Plus all gaming systems.

Truthfully, I'd like nothing more than a secure teaching job at a college, to get married, get a house, maybe a kid or two, and just be able to have a nice little life for myself without having to sacrifice my interests.

At least I feel halfway there already with the job thing. Now just to get going with the social life.

I want to be a fairly successful cartoonist, with a husband or wife and a couple of kids (no more than four, and even that's a bit much for my tastes...two or three, probably). If I can't be a professional cartoonist, I'll probably go into graphic design or something similar. I just need some sort of artistic outlet.

I hope to live in Canada someday, too--specifically the Vancouver area.

After I graduate from high school, I plan on going to art school, most likely either in Chicago or Vancouver (though I'm also looking at the art school in San Francisco and another one in Arizona).

Home-wise, I've always wanted a fairly big house, if only because the house I've lived in most of my life is relatively small and I want to know what living in a big house is like. I'll probably only achieve this part of the dream if I make it big, though.

Being a Pokemon trainer. Yeah yeah... But seriously, you get to run around and travel with monsters of doom and destruction without any consequences. You don't have to pay to stay overnight, you don't have to pay for your meals, no need to pay for healthcare, etc.

I don't really care about my lifestyle in the future, as long as I can make my future spouse happy! I would love to have kids one day and I would be thrilled if I could have at least one while I'm still young.

I want pets too, probably 2 cats but not until we have a big enough place to where the catbox isn't in an inconvenient location, smelling up the entire house or a certain room.
