Do you believe in, follow, or care about astrology at all?

I was surprised to find how many people around here IRL are astrology nuts. I once had someone say to me that I can't prefer cold weather because I'm a Cancer and I was born in the summer, etc., and overall seemed to think that I should plan my whole life around my sign. Me, I know what my sign is and sometimes I'll read a horoscope just for the fun of it, just like I'd read the fortune in a fortune cookie, but I don't really believe it hardcore like some people.

Yeah I've dabbled in it for fun, and I've learned a little about it beyond just reading my horoscope, but I don't really put any faith into that stuff. Every thing's so generic it can apply to anybody.

Some things I've found out about myself astrology wise are interesting though. For instance, My sun sign (outer personality) and moon sign (inner personality) are exact opposites of each other. This kind of makes sense for me, since I think my sun sign, Leo mostly fits me pretty well, but there are definitely times when I want a break from all the Leo stuff in order to truly feel comfortable. This also means that it was likely I was born on a full moon, since all full moons occur in the opposite sign of the current sun sign.

Also, I read somewhere that the three signs that Leos get along least with are Scoripio, Aquarius, and Taurus, which just happen to be the signs of my father, mother, and sister

I only care about astrology for the purposes of discussing these guys, and for harmless fun in general.

But it says that my OTP (PhilxRya, lols) wouldn't work out, so bluh.

For the record, my birthday is February 18th, making me an Aquarius on the cusp of Pisces. Both my parents are Geminis.

Doctor: OK, we just need to get your medical history. What's your birthday?
Me: July the 19th, 1987.
Doctor: Cancer.
Me: Well, my mom had cancer a few years ago. Breast cancer, blah blah blah, she recovered, etc.
Doctor: No, I meant you're a Cancer, not you have cancer.

I wasn't used to signs being such a big deal, I guess, and he did say that he wanted to know medical stuff.

I'm a Saggitarius born in the year of the Dragon. Earth Dragon, was almost a Metal Dragon. Too bad.

In any case, the pull of stars too far away which aren't in the same positions as when astrology came to be don't get much belief in me, but I like to play around with the symbols and note how both my symbols say I am variously setting people on fire or shooting them with arrows. :p
