Passed away.

Thanks for being a part of us, even if it wasn't always on the best of terms.

My parents had an above-ground swimming pool for a few years. It constantly got dirty, though. They'd put chlorine tablets in it, but it still got dead spiders and whatnot.

Sure, Lake Huron had those too, but we didn't have to clean them out Occasionally, though, I'd step on something kind of squishy and cringe at the thought that it could be a dead, rotting fish, or something similar. The waves were fun though, on days with bigger waves.

For the past 21 years, I haven't. I've just melted as temps got up to 95 in my room. Fans were of little use.

Soon, however, I get an air conditioned room. Thank goodness...

I wish I had a pool, as well.

We have one at the complex but having your own personal pool would be so much better.

It is nice at first, but after you've been in the pool every day for a week straight it gets kind of boring. We have one and my son loves the water, but lately we've been finding reasons not to get in the pool. It doesn't help that the temperature of the water is about 82-83 degrees and feels warm after you're in it for more than 5 minutes.

Mostly we just run the A/C to beat the heat here. Actually, you can't beat it in Las Vegas. You just suffer it and remember the mild temps of the winter for comfort.
