Not Bagel, but the kind you eat. How do you like them?

This morning I'm having an un-toasted raisin bagel with cream cheese. I prefer mine not to be toasted these days. I used to like toasted, but now the crunchy edges make my mouth hurt. So I just leave them untoasted and load up with cream cheese.

I like mine Egg Everything un-toasted with lox or wallnut-maple cream cheese. Bacon, eggs, sausage, and cheese will also do.

It could be either toasted or not but it has to have a lot of cream cheese on it.

I like toasted, plain bagels with cream cheese.

At my old place, I was haunted by a really gross-looking bagel in the package. It made me feel like vomiting.

Here's what I like:

Toasted + Cream Cheese
Fruity + Cream Cheese
Fruity plain
Toasted + Sandwich (usually eggs and cheese, bacon/sausage if available.)
Toasted Onion bagels with cream cheese are also usually pretty good.

I think I'll have a toasted plain bagel with cream cheese right now.

I don't really like it any other way. I'm a picky eater.

Some people like them with like peanut butter and banana slices on them or whatever.

Plain, untoasted, possibly with butter, or peanut butter if it's early in the day.

Toasting makes eating a bagel a lot messier than it really needs to be with all of the crunchiness, as tasty as toasted nooks and crannies are

Completely plain. I'm not a big fan of butter or cream cheese, and if I wanted a sandwich I'd much prefer bread.

Back at my friend's old place in Jersey, I used to jump right into the salt bagels whenever I visited. Massively salty, yes, but they went wonderfully with cream cheese. I can't get enough of them. I miss 'em. =/
