I knew certain plants were poisonous for cats, but I didn't know the lily flower was. I've had them in my apartment before. Oh well, not going to get those again.

Good to know. We have 4 cats and 2 of them like to eat flowers. I got some for my wife and had them on the counter. Next day I found bite marks on a few of them. Would hate to have something happen to them.

I have a bamboo plant but they really don't mess with it.

At most, they try to drink the water.

With 6 dogs and 2 cat living with us this isn't a problem on the count that live nowhere near lily flowers, or anything dangerous except bears and skunks. We have catnip growing but there's really no danger to that.

Never really had to worry about poisonous plants too much, except when we wanted to introduce our bird to a new plant and wanted to see if it was a good idea or not.

Little dude only liked parsley anyway.
