For me, august means that my summer break is already half over...which is a bad thing. But it also means good things such as the fact that Fan Expo is getting even closer! I hope that we begin to get some warmer weather where I live since recently the temperature hasn't been as high as I would live to see it .

Means that my week long vacation is over.

Besides that, I can't think of anything else.

Hurricane season gets a bit nutty and it's hotter outside.

Oh and Shark Week starts.

Plus the draft for my two fantasy football leagues starts up.

August is e worst month here in the desert. Mostly e first 2 weeks. 100+ pretty much guaranteed every day and stays above 100 until late in the evening. Hot all day and night pretty much.

But that means once august is over, the worst of the summer is over.

July might have been the hottest month for us with the heat wave... August is going to start off pretty humid, though. Low to mid 30's most of the week coming up.

No not august already where's my july where's my summer why didn't I get to enjoy summer

Summer going away without having enjoyed it aside August is for some reason my favorite time of the year.

I hope not to spend it here in this town... I'd like to go somewhere I could actually go outside at night.

As to why I don't have to pay rent: basically, we split up the last month's rent and pay it over the other 11 months. I'm not sure why my landlord does it this way, but it's awesome when you remember on rent due day that there is none!

Do all the tenants in your building do that? I wonder if some of them forget and try to pay rent for the 12th month as well. And does the landlord keep that extra rent?
