We have 1,900 posts in the past 24 hours.

That's still over board2's 1800-something.

Not a competition, but definitely something of interest.

Fun fact: Happy Hour didn't even come close to this, actually, as the record was set at the grand opening of Board2.

And as DarkSlaya has mentioned many times, plenty of contentful posts in it instead of "HEY GUYS QUOTE PYRAMID"

So I feel rather accomplished, and I owe it all to you. Again, thanks.

(I only say this because my body is going to drag itself to bed soon, even if I try to resist)

Yeah, but what'd be more interesting is if we could keep these numbers... not even aiming for 500 at the start, but even 100/day or more.

Just being able to say that we are active would be a massive step all on its own. After I wake up I can probably try to get us organized again... this spree pretty much went everywhere.

Yes, that'd be the best thing of course. Because a non active board isn't something want to visit. So they don't visit as much so less activity ect.

But 100 posts a day might be a good goal.

Maybe not even "post count" but more of "interesting posts".

Interesting posts breed more interesting posts... you just have to keep teh cycle going.

I was supriesed when I saw post quality. posts made sense, even if they were short snipits because people wanted to hurry up and post again. I can't beleive we did this at all... I am still amazed we pulled it off.

DarkSlaya, I'm finding that more and more true everyday. My board only did 1/3 of what this board did in the last day, but looking back on it, I don't regret it one bit -- we had fun. And I think that's the important thing about it, as long as it doesn't get to crazy, then it's okay.
