This is a game I always wanted to see up here. It's made by EA so naturally, it has a lot of unused content.

Some stuff I know that's unused:

* Dirt roads were planned but not implemented for reasons unknown
* There's an unused trigger that prevents RCI buildings from progressing unless a fire station is within range
* The Central Rail Station is in the game but unobtainable without cheating because the programmers forgot a decimal point and so you need over 9000% rail usage (sic!) instead of 90%.

There's also a leaked DLL file out there. If you add it to the plugins folder it will add additional options to the cheat menu. Some of them may be debug related, but I don't really know since not all of them have an apparent effect. (One of them certainly is, though, and that's the command which allows you to set how much money you have.

There's other stuff but I'm not quite sure about them yet. They may be custom content, or anything.

They should add Vegeta as a transport consultation and have some condition where if you have over 9000% railroad usage growth he oh forget it

Kind of surprising, though. Was none of that ever fixed in a patch?

Surprisingly, no, it has not been fixed with the patch. This game has its share of bugs, some of them are helpful but others are really annoying.

I also confirmed that the programmers intended to have the seaport and the city hall upgradable. The models are all in the game but never used.

Another thing that's well known is the Space Port. It says in the tooltip it "provides a boost to high-tech industry" but guess what, it has no effect at all other than providing a few jobs. On the other hand, the marina raises the high-tech capacity even though it is not mentioned anywhere (and it seems weird to me, at least). The programmers must have confused the two buildings. Makes me wonder what kind of beta testers they used for this game.

I believe the dirt roads were re-implemented in the Network Add-on Mod but I could be mistaken.

To be fair, bugs like these wouldn't exactly jump out and scream "HEY! FIX ME!" during a testing session like a graphics glitch or crash would. Most people who played the game probably didn't even notice that something was amiss.

Yeah, but it seems like any decent QAing would have it. Even just a "# of games xxxxxxx appeared in" would make, for example, the Central Rail Station's bug apparent very fast.
