That's about how I felt when I got one. I've been considering getting a new one - mine's incredibly boring - but I rarely use it anyway, and those things are freaking expensive especially if you don't want a contract (and I do NOT want a contract thank you).

Hey at least you're not one of the early buyers of the iPhone. Heck, if Steve Jobs is having to give out 100 bucks credit to the online Apple Store for the early buyers when the model dropped 200 dollars the other day (along with iPods all dropping 50) you know you got locked into something bad.

At least with a cheap-o, you don't have to worry about something like that.

I have a phone... it's a rather cheap model, outdated by a few years, the front screen dented from a drop onto subway tracks, but it's fine...Actually, yours looks like it would be an upgrade compared to mine

I don't have a cell phone and I doubt I'll be getting one anytime soon. I don't make enough calls to need one anyway.

Average phone calls made a day = 0.2

Average time talking to people on the computer through IM per day = 2 Hours+

I didn't notice anything wrong with that picture until I reread it after what Imajin said and I just started laughing out loud. I used to have a phone that lagged. What would happen was, if you opened it, closed it, opened it, closed it over and over and ~ really fast on the last open it would darken the screen (For the close), brighten the screen (For the open), darken the screen (For another close), and so on and so on. It was fun.

I have a cell phone. I hate it and I hate using it. The only reason I got it was because my mom got it for me in case of an emergency last year. I keep it off most of the time. It's really more of a paperweight I keep with me.


The only time I ever use it is when my mom calls or I need something.

So yeah. The iPhone looks to be the closest to what I want, but it's still a long ways off, mainly in terms of price and me not really needing a new phone that badly. (Also, I want a flip phone, I'm sick of the buttons getting pressed in my pocket. >8^( )

Mine's got a nice contact list; relatively useful (easily make new entries, just name/phone number(/type)/email/group/ringtone... mmy only problem with it is that there's no way to sort by group, so the "Family/Friend/Business/School" selection is useless (I haven't seen it used *anywhere* except on the contact list editor)...
