I've had a bad habit recently of deciding to close my eyes for a bit at night.

"a bit" = "2/3 hours". Plus all the lights are on and such. I need to adjust my mental clock somewhat.

I can sleep but sometimes I amaze myself at how long I can stay up.

That isn't exactly a long time to stay up, atleast from my experiences with sleep deprevation..

I've been having issues about closing my eyes real fast while playing a game...only to wake up four plus hours later.


It's worse when you're playing a game like harvest moon DS and wake up to find out you didn't save for about 6 hours of work and everything died / rotted as you were sleeping.

Never say that had really happened to me. Except when I was sick, but I was in a menu or paused the game when it happened. But only then, because I just couldn't play but couldn't get up to turn the game off.

As a child I was once forced to stay up for 48 hours over some dumb fishing trip. So yes, even though I hated every second of it.

I remember the power went out when I was recording something on TV at like 3am or so, and the tape managed to get stuck in the machine. Lucky I managed to get the tape out, but unfortunately it only ended up recording like 9~10 minutes of that show. =/

At least the power never went out in the middle of playing a game or something, since that would be a real pain... (especially if you're far from the next save point)

Ratchet & Clank 3. 3 hours. Then my mum decided to mess with the fuse-box. I died.

At least it wasn't as bad as my dad. He was nearly at the end when - for some reason - his Ratchet & Clank: A Crack in Time save got corrupted. I think a part of him died that day...

I'm glad to say that I haven't had any major power outage right when I was at a critical point in a game. Or at all, for that matter, unless we're getting into Gameboy. Then sometimes, but it wasn't a big deal.

I had a power outage tonight while playing Shatter. :\ Well, more like power surge since the PC just reset... yet it was clear outside and we didn't have any storms. Go figure.
