A little allergic to cats but that doesn't bother me, cause' I don't like cats anyway. Not allergic to anything else.

It's not genetic.

I used to be allergic to cats when I was little, and I had asthma then, too. I don't have either now

We weren't sure what caused me to stop having the reactions. All I know is that I wanted a cat, and I tested my allergies on my friends' cats. The method: pick up cat, nuzzle, inhale deeply, see if allergy kicks in Very scientific. No allergies to any of them, so I was good

Wow. Do you know how you were able to get rid of the asthma? I've had since i was around 12 or so.

No, sorry I don't. It just kinda went away
I think the official diagnosis was "inflammatory respiratory disease," or something that is basically asthma, has all the asthma symptoms, and is treated with asthma inhalers.

Yeah, not really something you can get rid of. Only work to make it happen less often.

Well I get a shot every month and I'm on meds. I can say that it has gotten a lot better.
