That is rather amazing I always liked big cities.

Most cities I lived in have drastically decayed over time though. Northern suburbs of Buffalo were decent in the 1990s, but in just a few years buildings became abandoned and there was lots of crime. And that's not mentioning Detroit

It's interesting how in the first Dubai picture, the row of buildings look massive. In the second one, they're less than half as tall as some of the skyscrapers.

That's amazing just how much construction went on in such a small window of time. I like old Shanghai better though. It seems like more of a rural area, which is what I'm used to. Plus it just seems like it was a lot less crowded.

As for Dubai, it's great that they got some... erm, civilization. It went from having 2 buildings and a gigantic desert wasteland to being a city. Very nice.
