I noticed a minute ago that a lot of the pages in the "Missing title screen" category get thrown in there even if they have a title screen uploaded and displayed because of the "bobscreen = " line in the template, can that be fixed or should I just keep fixing the pages manually for wikicred++

I went through the missing title screens category and removed that from a bunch of "false positives" and it went away, so yeah. Kind of makes it a pain in the ass to use the easy title screen upload thingy on some pages since you have to edit out that blank line anyway.

The problem is that the template is literally a giant batch of spaghetti and there's no decent way of editing even semi-complex MediaWiki templates that doesn't make me want to vomit.

Nope. bobscreen= re-added, no category. The problem with categories set by templates (and especially nested templates, as in this case) is that they might take a while to get updated/purged. Poking the page does that right away, along with any change (removing the bobscreen part is not necessary).
I'm pretty sure that pages waiting to get rid of the category are listed in the Job queue under statistics.

Smallish update: From what I can see, SMG2 has a lot of levels in the StageData folder with names including either "Test" or "E3Mov". Now, I can't actually view any of these levels or anything, but I can say that for certain that there are probably a lot of unused/test rooms in the game.

On Majora's Mask, I'm pretty sure that the Hylian Loach is actually an Ocarina of Time leftover because it does appear in OoT, but I'm not sure on whether or not it can only be found in the Japanese version. Does anybody happen to have this knowledge?

I think it is not a leftover from OoT, for two reasons:

* While you can find the Hylian Loach in OoT, it never appears on the item subscreen, unlike the Majora's Mask unused item. There's no Gameshark code to make it appear either.
* The developer team said in an interview they wanted to have a Jabu-Jabu Fishing minigame in Majora's Mask. The Hylian Loach could have been intended as a prize, or somehow related to that game.

The Hylian Loach can be found in the US version of Majora's Mask, by the way.

Here's something I just remembered that would seem right at home on the wiki: Plumber's Cave. They planned to use it for one of the cave levels (notice how one had a seemingly random SMB remix for the Return song?) and even had it up for listening on their promotional website. For one reason or another, they took it out, so that not even the stream is left on the game. (One look at the names of the streams will tell you just how organized the music development was.)

This youtube is the only thing I can find on it. The description claims a copy exists on Newgrounds, but I can't find it at all.
