I used to go to a board that had exactly 1 active female other than myself.
Something annoyed me though, they wanted photographic proof that female members were female. I don't like that kind of thing, like everyone's assumed to be a man unless proven otherwise

Yep. And then I tell them that I'm lesbian and sometimes they flip out.
I actually went to a board where everyone's gender was male by default, and you had to prove your gender to get the female status. Needless to say, I left that place.

I know a lot of guys would shit bricks if they saw what my wife wears sometimes when we play WoW... She's not really an anime girl, but she likes video games. Not all the same ones as me, she's more in to the Sims, some RTS, and quick games like Bejeweled and stuff. But she doesn't like Final Fantasy games
