Grab that code and a US ROM. That'll get you to the system debug menu. Start listening to the FGMs (Voice and Sound Effects) and noting anything that pops up as unusual. I've already discovered PK Starstorm (used later by Ness in Brawl) and a few other things from Mario, Cpt. Falcon, Pikachu, and a few others.

I've been logging my progress on the wiki and would love if someone could review those already posted. Also, if you can make connections between any unused SFX and the ones used in later games, that would be awesome of you.

Now that you mention it, I do recall reading in an interview about Brawl how they recorded these sound clips without knowing if they'd really use them. I'm glad they're still left in the game.
