I remember seeing absolute masses of beta stuff literally flow from this game. There was an user who had lots of YouTube videos showing everything, and it really was a lot. Unused music, enemies and even a whole subquest, or so it seems.

I would be happy if someone could cover this up.

"Some" is a bit of an understatement. Alternate sprites for most of the Starbeans reward items and (mostly) full character animations for all the cut cameos and more. The Spriter's Resource has two sheets full of all the unused stuff, and I know there are youtube videos by the same guy demonstrating them. Contacting him might be the best way to get more info on all this.

E. Gadd is...not a terribly appealing character.

Why in the world did they throw it all away? It's not like they would've run into licensing issues with the cameos or anything.

I wonder if the sprites and animations are all that remain in the ROM? It'd be great if some scripts and dialogue could be found, though the fact that the Link sprite isn't even finished doesn't give me a lot of hope.
