I was wondering what the itchy red lumps were... then just for a whim I put the cold sore cream on it.

Bugger.

I have cold sores on my bloody fingers!

How does one get cold-sores on their fingers?

Well, I feel some of your pain. I've got a nasty one on my lip that hurts like HELL. I'll bet that the finger ones are worse though so I shouldn't complain.

Simplicity v1.1
Awww...poor thing...

You should write.

Course, since you've already taken the graphic art road, writing tends to be the hard path for people to do I notice...

...then again, that might just be a rumour.

Anyways, I can relate. Been using a manual rivet gun for building up burntable consoles over the past several weeks among other electrical and mechanical labor that's pretty much numbed up my hands. I could probably punch a wall and not feel much of it. I know my wrists pop easy when grabbing things tough enough anymore.

It's a layout... that I worked hard on. ^_^
----------------------------------------------------

I've got a scab underneath the upper layer of my skin on my foot... or something stupid weird like that.

It hurts to walk on, but what can I do except have a doctor look at it?

Well at least cold sores can be treated... and go away eventually...

Finger cold sores are less irritating than lip ones.

They're just weird. I didn't realise I could get them there. But then they responded to the coldsore cream (Zovirax). And I looked it up, you can get them on your fingers...

EDIT: And I am not going to write anything, not with a pen or pencil, or even a stylus anyway. The coldsores are on my middle finger on my right hand. A writing implement seems to brush up against them. Itchy Itchy Itchy Itchy Itchy.

The urge to use said writing implement to scratch the fuck out of the damn things is strong...

I have eczema bad on my hands, especially the right one. It causes intermittent rashes that start out as dry skin and--if left untreated--become incredibly itchy, develop little red bumps/blisters, and eventually crack. I had what appeared to be a deep, inflamed papercut under my middle finger, which was in reality an eczema rash that split.

At least all your problems will eventually go away...

I have problems with my skin splitting too. Usually on my feet more so than my fingers, but I have it on my thumbs a lot where I get splits. And on my right ear -- for some reason my right ear splits a lot

So I know where you're coming from there. I just didn't even know I could get coldsores on my fingers
