I have yet put together another new layout, this one was a quick simple process of putting together with some help, though I hadn't tested what would happen to my layout if I stretched it too much vertically, let's test that now.

I couldn't think of anything else to write besides the '1 2 3 4' and I'm hoping that my layout is still in one piece after this, since I set a height so my bunny self wouldn't escape the post box.

One other note, I may add some stuff at the bottom in the future if I get around to that, but for now that is still undecided.

And that's about it, as far as my layout goes...

Edit: I had the feeling my bunny's left foot would overlap the post message box area... :/

The background seems a bit too light for the text, plus the overlap thing that Supa mentioned. It's good overall though

However, you seem to often be coding it in such a way that it affects the whole page (like with the black text earlier) rather than just your layout.

The .css for your layout sets hr and blockquote for the whole page, that needs to be changed to only affect your layout

The background could be a bit darker too, but it's good enough otherwise

It appeared I had forgotten to add some other values for when I was writing the hr and the blockquote tags in the css stylesheet, not sure if its still broken for you folks, let me know if it is!

I also changed the purple background to a darker purple as suggested, if that wasn't the right background to change then just let me know, though I'm sure it was what I changed.

And sorry folks, my eyelids are getting heavy so I may not be as accurate while I'm so sleepy tonight.. :/

Edit: As for my lucky bunny foot, I'll just slide my message window over so I don't chop off my own bunny foot. :3

Actually, the overlapping happened with me in google chrome too, but I kind of fixed that problem by sliding over the message box slightly.

As for the hr blockquote problem, I noticed the problem was still there so I just took out the code for now.

My layout is rather simple in nature, and is a modified design of the layout I used starting with my 1000th post. It looks great in any modern browser that supports transparent PNG and border-radius elements. I'm probably going to keep this layout for a while... =D

(I'm also going to use this on a website in the near future, since it works great for websites too. =))

After looking at the RGB values, I see it has a slight blue tint on some parts, but not quite purple (the darker background is 38 37 46)

But the lighter background is really grey (153 153 153)

I did intend it to be of a blueish tint actually, kinda figured it would fit with my bunny's colours.

My layout is kinda simple too, though I did take a shortcut with using css3 values for the border radius that IE users supposedly won't be able to see, least for now anyways if IE 9 gets the support that it needs, sadly IE 9 won't be available to Windows XP users, but who uses IE anyways?

I think I'll be keeping my new layout for a while, now that I think about it some more by the way.

Personally, I think the white text on the light gray is a little hard to read. There needs to be a greater contrast of light value there. Try making the text the same color as your purple/blue/gray background, or maybe even black. That way you'll have dark against light instead of light against light.

Aside from that and the overlapping issue, I like it Good job.

And I went back to fix the text colour problem, seemed I forgotten yet another tag, which explained why some people were seeing white text with the different schemes of Jul, but now I should have that sorted with my text now all black for everyone.

Yeah, it does get kind of tricky to read with low resolution displays, since I have an ASUS netbook that I use for when I need to be cordless, but yeah the message box is something I should check out, seeing if I can fix that too.
