So, there's those unused HUD elements still buried inside the ROM. Problem being: They seem to be CI-type textures, but without a palette to go with anymore. Thus they look something like this: ![]() (disregard the colors on the second one, that was my attempt to reconstruct them from blurry JPEG prototype screenshots featuring a similar gauge) What to do with them? Add them to the Wiki the way they are, or should I try cleaning them up a bit more so that they're a bit more recognizable? Or are they actually used in the game, which I'm rather sure they aren't, and I was just too stupid to find the references to them? (Also, semi-off-topic: I extracted those images, as well as the 1996 Copyright, with a tool derived from OZMAV2's texture converter. I guess it's similar to N64Gfx, just without the importing, but I was too lazy to look for that one. Anyone interested?) ____________________ cu xdaniel |
