Hi angelsl,
I appreciate your will to contribute, but your contribution should be useful

1- The icon issue has been discussed MILLION times.
2- It is already fixed in the SVN repository, so anyone who can compile stuff, and badly wants to have this fixed can checkout the souce and compile it. Plus, he'll get the nice new features in the new version: Incomplete 3d texture editing, sprite displaying (by Piranhaplant), etc...
3- Yes, it has a license: GNU GPLv3
4- DS Download Play DOESNT fail because of the icon. It fails because some sort of checksum Nintendo added on the new firmwares. I have even played DS Download Play with a friend, with a rom with bad icon

And I really don't see the logic in your fix... What are you doing with that IF? Have you even tried it? No, you haven't, that's why you named the thread "Possble temporary fix for Jumbled Icon problem"
