Here, you have holidays in February (and sometimes the last day of January or the first couple of days of March, but that's rare. It all depends on when Easter is). It's called 'Krokusvakantie'. 'Krokus' is a flower species which is most seen in mid February (but thanks to the cold winter, I didn't see them until last Sunday). I don't know what it's called in English, but if you're that interested I guess you could look it up on yourself. Since it's usually in February, most people in my country go on wintersport to Austria, Germany or Switzerland. (Other areas don't seem to be very popular.) |
