For the most part, there's some debug modes listed for Super Pang, Final Fight, SimCity, and I think a couple of other things that BMF unveiled.

I have an account there, so I can relay it in a shell fragment. I'm just kind of lazy right now since I have to go soon, otherwise, I'd go take screenshots and place them together.

Press Start on the title screen to enter a CPS1-like test menu. A activates the current selection, and A+B returns to the main menu. Note that the VRAM viewers are a bit buggy, and the music test doesn't actually include the main music tracks.

Immediately after resetting the game, hold B+Y on controller 2 until the Capcom logo fades out. This activates the debugging features. Reset again and hold Select to activate an even more CPS1-like test menu (did Capcom's arcade and home divisions share programmers?). Press Start to activate the current selection, and Select to exit (you'll have to reset to get out of some menus). Note that dot cross, OBJ, and scroll don't actually work, and CHAR is a bit buggy.



There are also a few in-game debugging features as well. The bouncing sprite on the left is the current CPU usage. L activates slow motion, and Start+Select resets the game. Pause the game and press X for a RAM viewer (doesn't always display the right data), or Select for a palette editor. L and R in the palette editor will expand or contract the black masking box (?). Perhaps the most awesome feature of this mode is CROTCH BULLETS: press A on controller 2, and your character will fire a bullet from his crotch! Don't use this while facing left, though, or you'll kill yourself.

This is pretty much the same as Final Fight's, though there are a few differences. The color test and palette editor don't work, and you can't fire crotch bullets (). In-game, press B on controller 2 to freeze your character, and then B on controller 1 to deactivate the foreground layer. Pressing Y on controller 2 freezes your character and sets him on fire, and A on controller 1 flips him upside-down. These have no actual effect on your player, though, so what were they used for?

Reset the game and hold Select until the Capcom logo fades out. I've barely scratched the surface of this monstrosity, so you'll have to figure out how everything works. Have fun!

I'm currently working on activating debug modes in Street Fighter 2 and Kirby Bowl (Kirby's Dream Course). The former looks like the usual CPS1 test options, while the latter is MUCH more complex, judging from the text in the ROM. There's a full set of debugging flags, several menus, and some test maps! HAL's got some pretty insane programmers, though, so it might take a while to figure this one out. Wish me luck.
