Okay, in my game (Random Super Mario Bros), when i go into a secret area (e.g. some pipes and up vines)the screen goes black. Any ideas??

Search for the beta sprite(0) or are you using a warp that does not make sound? I put one that didnt have sound and crashed in my flashcart(TTDS) but in emulator no. If you dont find anything try to replace with a working level.

I've looked though my levels for sprite 0 and it's not in the level but the game still crashes? I also had a look at that thread and i couldn't find anything.

Try disabling all the sprite sets that are not in-use... I had that cause the problem before...

I have the same problem, buy only on level 1-4.
And only if I change one of the sub areas (2&3). Even a brick added/removed and the problem starts.
Ihen I return to area 1 the game stop working with black screens. I have tried to re-ex/import the original areas and then it work fine again.
I can change area 1 with no problem.

That same happens to me in 1-4. I make a pipe to the underground level and when I come back it gives me a black screen. Maybe the unknown sprite is the cause of this?

I deleted that sprite way-back-when, and the level works fine for me...


Just tried to delete two sprite 280 "unknown Sprite (1-4 and Castles)" in the middle of world 1-4 area 1.
Then edit area 2+3. Still get black screens when I retur to area 1.

Am I missing more?

You are recommended to use CSS to specify the font and
properties such as its size and color. This will reduce
the size of HTML files and make them easier to maintain
compared with using <FONT> elements.

You are recommended to use CSS to control line wrapping.
Use "white-space: nowrap" to inhibit wrapping in place
of inserting <NOBR>...</NOBR> into the markup.
