Nice and fake, looks beautiful and we didn't have to kill a tree!

Do you put the ornaments up anywhere?

My parents put some up on strings of coloured garland one year They wouldn't get the tree until a few days before Xmas usually.

Nope. They're in the closet somewhere.

Paulguy's Post configuration
We have a real tree, pretty tall too. It almost touches the ceiling and we have very tall ceilings. It's decorated to be pretty. My sister is pretty crazy about stuff matching and going with the theme of the room and I can pretty much agree. We have some family who has all kinds of ornaments that they got as gifts or represent something or other, and it looks pretty bad because nothing really matches anything on the tree or the rest of the room.

<3 real trees. I can't very well have one in an apartment though, and don't really have the money/room/care enough for a fake, so I just decorated the walls and switched my desktop background to a closeup of a decorated tree.

When I came home for the Christmas break yesterday, turns out that my grandmother's artificial tree was put and decorated in my room. It may or may not go back to them some time later though. :/

But at least if it doesn't go back to her, then when I finally get my own place to live I'll have a tree to put up. :p

Artificial.

...It *looks* real, isn't that what counts? And it's pretty. And at least you won't find pine needles on the floor in June.

X-mas tree at the in-laws, fake of course. They've had it for a while.

My family has used an artificial tree since they moved into an apartment in 2006. I don't really mind. It's less stuff to clean up, which is nice if you have to drag it through a hallway to throw it out. And you don't have to buy a new one every year, so it's cheaper. Especially since prices for christmas trees has only gone one way since then.
