Some of you, who were on IRC or on certain forums, might remember that I mentioned of being quite lucky and finding a Spectral Kitten loot card in a World of Warcraft Trading Card Game booster. These loot cards can be used to give prestige items to your characters and often go for quite large sums of money.

Since I haven't got a Paypal and I've thought of supporting Xkeeper in some way, I gave the card to him, so that he can sell it for great justice.

We're "splitting" the profit (if any comes out of it), as in Xk getting his share and keeping the rest if I happen to find something in the US that I would like to get imported.

But god damn, I'm STILL shocked cards sell this well. Never understood it (I thought even a dollar for a card was overpriced when I was ten or so...), never will.

This is the third highest selling card currently and the reason why they go this high is a) They're rare. b) They're wanted. c) It's a prestige item in an online game. d) SPECTRAL KITTEN BITCHES.

The same applies to certain rare cards, which are wanted for actually playing. They're damn good, but rare = price is high.
