I would have been in DC and Maryland, but not Virginia.

At least the school trip was in March and the weather cooperated... so no horror stories, sadly.

Manassas is an independent city surrounded by Prince William County and the City of Manassas Park in the Commonwealth of Virginia. The population was 35,135 at the 2000 census. The Bureau of Economic Analysis combines the city of Manassas (along with Manassas Park) with Prince William County for statistical purposes. I thought it was odd how cities in Virginia aren't considered part of counties. That would be really weird in Michigan, which tends to give out the "city" status like candy, even to some communities of under 500 people

Oh, Michigan does that, too.

Omer, Michigan is a city with a population of 337.

Clinton Township, Michigan is a charter township (which is unincorporated), and its population is 95648, enough to be the #9 community in Michigan by population.

Just learned that there's a city in Florida with the population of eight.

Weekie Wachee, Flm which is about 1.0 square mile.
