We get flooded streets...which could be filled with who-knows-what.

It's always good to get supplies before the season (be it winter or otherwise) cause everyone overcharges when things go sour.

My mom keeps saying we should've bought more milk.

We have plenty of food in the storage room but not a lot of milk. And the way we go through milk for cereal, drinking and hot cocoa, it disappears fast.

They showed a woman on the news last night saying how she loved the sheer panic at Safeway before a storm.

If your mom's wondering about milk... yeah... you guys stock up too much.

If the power goes out and you have too much milk, do you just bury it in the snow?

We could. It might freeze though. Ever had frozen milk? Not fun.

I've had frozen Sunny D. But that was because it was in the back of the fridge.

My mini-fridge likes to freeze whatever liquids you put on the top rack, including the half-gallon cartons of milk. That wasn't a fun surprise. Now the milk goes one rack down.

I've had that happen with water before. Thankfully I don't put my milk in the top rack. There's a nice little spot in the door for that. :p

Now I want a snow cone, thanks.

The only place I know where to get one is about 30 minutes away.

I would do that but the door isn't wide enough to hold the carton. Isn't really wide enough to hold anything other than cans of drink.

Milk won't fit on the side of my fridge either. Not that wide for much, really.

My parents accidentally froze some Vernors* because of a fucked-up hotel refrigerator, so we had "Vernors slush". It was pretty good.

*Michiganian ginger ale that doesn't taste like other ginger ales.

Does it taste worst than normal ginger ale?

I like Vernors, but I grew up drinking it I don't really like the taste of other ginger ales because I'm so used to Vernors.

I used to drink ginger ale to help with an upset stomach.

Um. FP. Why not just leave the milk out in the garage?
