I CAN'T GET OUT OF MY FREAKIN' HOUSE!

Well, actually I did, but I've never had to struggle with a snowdrift like that before... Anyway, they're calling for 22 inches. We're utterly fucked and I love it.

I barely ever see snow ever where I live. Lucky to those who live up north. You get all the snow possible.

I'm having flash backs of the '96 blizzard... Damn that was as bad, if not, worse than this.

There was the 1998 blizzard here, causing long power shortages everywhere (and many broken trees, etc.)

And let's see you still enjoy snow after getting a (nearly) record high 11 feet here in 2008, the tree in front of the house was almost entirely buried under a mountain of snow ... well, maybe the kids playing in snow did

But the first snow (and as long as it stays low) is usually nice

Well we officially passed the 2 foot mark ~4 hours ago and we're working on 3 feet as we speak. Snow's still going strong and it should continue to about ~1 AM.

Ahh, the infamous '98 blizzard that hit EVERYWHERE. It had poor old South Carolina locked up for a while.

Family up in Virgina are mad to me. It's been snowing all day and they stuck a ruler in the ground and it vanished.

Here, it was the '99 blizzard. We had 7 snow days in the Thumb, and schools in Detroit were off for like 2 weeks.

But yea, I still think it's cold here. Walked out of the movie theater into the cold and it took me bu surprise. My feet too.

Screw the ruler! I threw a small snow shovel and I still can't find it! D:

My old assistant manager lost his store keys in the snow once up in Boston.

He found them in Spring.

It wasn't a blizzard, Milly... it was an ice storm.

Having no power for a week (give or take a few brief periods) sucks. Seriously. And it was cold inside too, but at least we weren't shivering to death...

Snow + cold and no power.

I'll take losing power after a hurricane than having to deal with no power and the cold.

No power + cold + streets COVERED with ice + stores gouging prices on important things like batteries.

At least Wal-Mart was one of the few places open...
