So today in "art" class (it's a bit more then just art) we where supposed to stand in front of the class in groups and talk about what we did for summer and one was supposed to lie. And the other people would guess for who did lie and not.

We have known each other for over a year now so I expect people to know my name. (Even though I'm horrible with names myself. )
So after we all talked a girl who could not think of my name called me link. Yes link as in zelda series. V_v

I mean, sure I wear a green cap, but still!

Anyhow, fast forward. I helped up putting up christmas decoration around the school. (I'm in a group and this is one of those things I have to do) on the flip side, I got a free christmas hat!

So I was wearing it on my way home and some old lady out with her dog told her dogs that I was "one of santas little elfs" then she quickly changed her mind and called me the same but with the female term for it. I mean, it's a bit dark, but common! It can't be THAT hard to tell what gender I am! V_v

Atleast your classmates did not put "ty" at the end of your name on the class register.. Gets quite annoying everytime the teacher goes "Here Kitty Kitty Kitty!"

Oddly everyone remembers my name, although few people are capable of pronouncing the x in my name.

I had the nickname Rusty as my handle due to someone else using 'Metal' and for whatever reason the people I raced at school in Mario Kart DS began calling me that. They're all gone and transferred now...

The best one was when some IRC moron named me 'Bastard Tool of Destiny' after seeing me rip to shreds some various delusional people's logic.

A couple of people called me "Diamond" for a good year before it was changed to "Diamond Dale". Then soon after, it was changed to "Diamond Dale do" (Like saying Dildo) and it just stuck.

Diamond came from my High school days of me being the nerdy pimp. I dated a lot of tweens in my days, but one hot girl made it to the 'Diamond' nickname.

Then 'Diamond Dale' came to be my nick, as soon it stuck on until two years after high school.

Then one day i was smoking pot and someone said "Hey Diamond Dale-do, pass me the bong".

We not only got a good laugh, but that soon became my nickname.

Funny how my nickname evolved.

A few of my co-workers call me "Brandy Man", due to my first/last name, Ian Jay, having the same pronunciation as an alcohol by the name of "ENJ". :|

"ENA" (like DNA. Ian-A) was an old nick used exclusively by one old friend of mine. Older nicknames over my lifetime were made in pertinence to the curly 'fro I used to always have: Afro puffs, curly fries, mop-head, etc.

I'm usually called Jerry for short (Jeremiah) but I did have a nickname back in highschool. I was "Battle Buddha" because I was fat with muscle underneath and always sported my famous buzz-cut and it matched perfectly well with my friend Isiah's nickname "Disco Jesus" because he had the Jesus-beard going on and an afro.

We were fondly known as "Battle Buddha and his non-gay hetero life partner slash sidekick Disco Jesus". We still joke about it to this day.

My previous layout was better but whatever

This is not really related at all, but I have known these two classmates for two years, and it wasn't until like, a few months ago I realized their names. Even if we talk everyday, sit together and are generally friends. And never had the need of any nicknames.

Walfas' Unnamed Character logic invades our universe.

Actually I don't think I ever had much of a nickname. More like a title. Which is a shame becouse I don't like my name to begin with.

My boss calls me T sometimes (short for Taryn).

Back in middle and high school, I had some wacky ones, like "The Millionaire" (from Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?), which was my online alias for a while. Now, if that were true, it'd solve a lot of my problems

People sometimes call me Ingy or just Ing.

Those people are immediately put onto 'People to kill in a massacre' list.

A few people used to call me by my last name which I didn't mind, but other than that, I never really had a nickname.

Whereas, I instead, got everyone calling me by my last name somehow.

Upside is, everyone pronounces it correctly now.

I've been called "shark" or "sharkie" by a couple of my relatives in the past. Some people have called me "Marcus" or "Markie."

One person called me "Ah-zoo-ree" (Azure) and "Hee-kar-ree" (Hikaru/Hikari), much to my chagrin. :/

I can't say I had a real nickname based on my name, though a friend of mine called me "Cookie Man" for a while (it stopped because it was too long) after she noticed I eat chocolate chip cookies every day as a snack.

I've really never had much in the way of nicknames, except for one: "Frodo." Once, because I had been spending a lot of time alone in my room, my sister said I was turning into a hermit...except, with her amusing misuse of the English language, what she really said was that I was turning into a hobbit. So now, when I'm in my room at dinnertime or something like that, I get called "Frodo", mainly by my smart-aleck parents. Not that I liked the nickname...I didn't, since it was making fun of a certain aspect of my personality.

Metal_Man88: X? Is your name Xavier by any chance?

God I remember the days back in high school when everyone had a nickname for me on almost everything I was. Won't list them all cause it's to damn long.

The one's that stood with me till this day are Burrito and Bommer Man. Both of those nickname came from my last name. The "rito" from my last name got me Burrito and the "bomm" from the beginning of my last name got me Bommer Man.

Nicknames? Most of my friends simply call me Nick. One or two call me by my last name. A girl I see every so often calls me Nintendo, and my bartender calls me Nick Yeah. Or sometimes to change it up, Nivk Da.

I usually end up going by "Z" (as in, "Zee"), since that's my last initial. Plus, there are no less than 4 of us that have the same first name, so we kinda have to go by nicknames.

People from my high school called me by my last name, which isn't so much a nickname, I know. Although, a few people, mainly my really close friends, called me by whatever alias I was using for online stuff.

People that Jason David Frank works with still call him "Tommy", off the TV character he was famous for. He actually loves it. Afterall, it's his claim to fame.

Yeah, I asked the folks at Saban if I could keep the costume... I snuck one of em out, but the others... :/
