I still need to add the health bar, though. Everything is based off of (or taken from) Phantom Brave.

It's too bad I have to save in animated .gif, I find it loses quality. Is there another way to animate images without flash or html?

You can minimize the loss by setting it to 256 colors, but that's really all you can do. Depending on the program you use, you could even go in and make sure that all the character's colors make it onto the palette and only take away from the background.

Standard .png does not support animation.
.apng is animated png. But like said above, very few browsers supports it.

So far, only the latest versions of Firefox and Opera support it. The group that created .PNG rejected .APNG as an extension of .PNG because they believe it goes against the main purpose of .PNG, which is to store a single image.


So for now, you just have to deal with using .gif.

I liked MNG better than APNG; however, I've switched to APNG since Firefox and Opera dev teams seem to prefer that instead of MNG

But, anyway, animated GIFs will probably still be around for a while, since MNG/APNG isn't as well supported...

Sometimes I make random sprite things...They usually aren't very good

This is just a little stock counter thing I made for Shadic's Geno PSA Character for Brawl which is based off of Toon Link (Hence the hair/ears). Dunno if it's the correct dimensions or anything, I just made it from scratch out of boredom.

You are recommended to use CSS to specify the font and
properties such as its size and color. This will reduce
the size of HTML files and make them easier to maintain
compared with using <FONT> elements.

You are recommended to use CSS to control line wrapping.
Use "white-space: nowrap" to inhibit wrapping in place
of inserting <NOBR>...</NOBR> into the markup.
