We just got a dusting of snow tonight, actually...

It'll be quite often come next month. Or at least it'll feel like it because the damn stuff will stay on the ground forever and ever.

Here, I rarely get any rain, much less snow.

Though lately, there has been quite a bit of snow here. According to some neighbors, the last time this place had any snow like this was around 14-15 years ago.

We get FUCKTONS. Often falls suddenly in September and stays until April. Metres deep, everything frozen, can't really drive at all but people do anyway. This year's been much tamer though - we actually had some that melted away in September!

Still bloody cold though. -20°C, -36 with wind chill, and dropping. Yay.

I live in southern Canada so we see it here every winter. Usually it starts to fall as early as October but this year we didn't see any until the beginning of December . It was actually the first timeon record that our area didn't have any snow in the month of november .

Paulguy's Post configuration
Snows for most of the year, here. At least from october/november all the way up to may sometimes. This year we were lucky, though, and it didn't snow until December 1st.

Oh, I thought the "Always" option meant every year, not every day

I used to live in Buffalo, and we got snow in June one year.

We get snow some years, last time I saw snow was in febuary, but sometimes we just get.. none at all. We seem to get hailstones often during this season though, how about that.

Very rarely. A snow day will typically occur once every six years.

It happened to snow twice last year, and the forecast for tonight shows rain mixed with snow. However, I have my doubts.

It was snowing a bit today, but now it has stopped.

I think snow is beautiful when it's falling or newly fallen, but not after it's dirty from having been driven over umpteen times on the road at the end of a long Michigan winter, and piled up in huge, ugly, dirty mounds at the edges of parking lots.

We got our first snow Saturday afternoon into the night. My friend and I were coming home from the casino and Cheesecake Factory the road were a mess. I noticed 3 accidents and one nasty one on the way home -- it was very slippery.

Can we trade places?

... Please?

I don't know how much snow we're expecting here but I would seriously enjoy not having any.

Here, in Hungary, sometimes we got a half meter, sometimes nothing. Well, it doesn't seem for now, that there'll be a lot of snow this winter, but actually who knows. It's raining at the moment, eh...

I'd gladly trade chavs, highest knife and drug crime in europe and highest underage offense in europe for some snow

...Over a foot of snow? Ouch.

I think the most I've ever seen was six inches. Even that sucked...

It's actually snowing now but.. it's not setting at all, it's more liquid than it is solid. It just looks a mess outside now. Snow's only nice when it's set
