I already did most of my holiday shopping, so most of my stress this month will be more mundane matters, like homework.

At least I'm not expected to give too many gifts, just stuff for my parents.

I still don't have a job. So this holiday is looking to be a little strapped on cash unfortunately.

To work around this, I am just going to be spending time with my family and making my own Christmas ornament. My uncle is starting up a tradition, and that is everyone has to make their own Christmas ornament.

I plan on making a little Christmas Sackboy from the game LittleBigPlanet. I already have the materials. All I need to do now is make him. Even got his little santa hat!

I have no clue what I'll do for christmas. Seeing as I'm on essentially no income because college student without job, I don't have money for stuff beyond me. I'll buy my girlfriend and hopefully family gifts but I never know what to get for anyone.

The only thing I dislike about this time of year is when people *expect* me to go out and get them stuff, when they don't tell me what they want. Especially when I only *rarely* see said people, due to me being out at college and stuff. This is the exact reason why I tell everybody "don't give me anything for christmas if I don't ask for anything", so they don't wind up in the same situation I mentioned.

Aside from that though, this is the one time of year where people go all out and decorate their houses with twinkling lights and statues, and all sorts of other fun stuff. I only wish there were more excuses for neighborhoods to dress up like they do around now.

There's this one house near where I live that decorates like mad. Seriously, they must buy everything they see and just stick it in their yard. They have so much random christmas stuff that we're pretty sure they're invading their neighbors' property with it all.

My parents would drive around and look at the Xmas decorations. They also have a bunch of their own, including some painted wood carvings that they made themselves

Yeah, uh... buying gifts for others isn't going to happen here either.

I'm saving every little bit of money I can just so I actually have something to work off of for myself. Besides, if I end up not having enough... it's back to AOL, and nobody wants that.

That leaves my sister. Maybe if I call her sometime tomorrow or maybe even tonight as soon as I get home and explain the situation maybe I'll get out of actually having to get her a gift. Or at least get some more time out of it. Or I can just make something like I did last year. She really loved the awesome picture of her bunnies I touched up in Photoshop.

I just realized that, thanks to work, I have 6 days to do Christmas shopping; that being the next 3 weekends.

This weekend: Likely nothing being done, maybe a few minor things.
Next weekend: I'll need to do most of it...
Weekend before Christmas: Might have work parties to go to on Saturday, last-minute stuff on Sunday.

So yeah. Fun.
