Last year I went with my sister to the biggest mall on the island, located in the capital ... It was chaotic. 
I didn't go this year though, I have to save money for college. |

My laptop was a Compaq.
- The screen flickered and finally almost died. (It's not 100% dead, but it's unusable.)
- Somehow, the cover for the hard drive came loose and started falling off.
- More I can't think of, other than there not being enough RAM for Vista to run comfortably (it came with Vista).
I also had trouble with my old laptop, an MPC. The backlight would flicker (different from my Compaq's problem) and the CMOS battery kicked the bucket.

How much? I remember Microsoft allowing netbooks and low-end laptops to be shipped with XP for a while... I think if they were under 1.5GB of RAM.
I still get the feeling Vista would run comfortably even on my desktop... I've had nowhere near as much struggle with it as anyone else.

My old laptop had only 1 GB of RAM. I got it in January 2008.
I actually went out and got a new one today though, at a tiny computer store that doesn't get many customers even on Black Friday.

Aha, that was before they started shipping XP on lower-RAM computers then. Ah well.

Apparently there was a spike of calls at work from 6-8 AM or so. After that it was busier than yesterday but people were still waiting 3-4 minutes between calls, which is below average.
So yeah. Not the nightmare I'd expect working for a credit card company.
