I really like Serif fonts too, although I don't tend to use them on the web a lot (besides Georgia).

My favourite would have to be Sabon.

I can't stand Serif fonts, with the exception of Georgia. That's a pretty good font.

I don't quite see the problem with the a in Gill Sans MT, though.

The tail on the "a" seems really out of place, and throws off the spacing. It really stands out now that I've actually paid attention to it.

I've got my layout set up to use Candara. It's a remnant from when I had a manga styled layout and needed something that wasn't WildWords for a font.
