For those of you in school, do you usually have a lot of homework or not much?
I've had a lot more homework this semester than I'm used to. Usually in college I don't have much trouble with homework load, but I'm doing a senior project and have 2 classes that tend to pile it on so much that sometimes I pick and choose which assignments I complete A lot of semesters were mostly just "show up to class, goof off most of the hour, and every so often turn something in" Especially if I knew even a little bit about the material and had to take the class to graduate anyway.
In high school, toward the end I almost never had homework, but when I was taking advanced science classes, I tended to have a lot of research work to do and such, plus a lot of memorization.
It's different every night for me. Some times I only get homework from one of my classes or sometimes I get big projects from all 3 at the same time. I usually get the most homework in my Advanced Functions class though, it sucks when I try to do the work but have no idea how to answer some of the questions because my teacher never taught us how .

Not much, thankfully. You'd think with pursuing certification in computers there'd be more, but I guess that's why most of the classes are 4 hours long and are half lecture, half lab.
When I was in HS and working, I usually worked on my homework while at work. It was a pain at times, but on the slow nights it was very simple. It was better to do it at work than after I got home, which was usually around 11pm.

Nothing much except for some simple assignments like a reading log, or something a bit more complicated like an essay.
Of course, just because they're simple, doesn't necessarily mean I actually do them. That's the main reason I'm curently struggling in school right now.
I currently have an essay to write for one of my classes, and I actually plan on writing it. If I don't, there's a high chance that I'll fail the semester.

Not very much work. It's sorta optional for my mathematical ideas class (base conversion? egyptian number system? please), but I have to write and research sometimes for my English Composition class (big deal) and code some crap for my C++ class (okay THIS one believe it or not is the killer).
Sometimes our networking class gives assignments as well, but those are far less of a chore and more somewhat enjoyable to do.
I have a lot of homework but I tend to be able to do some kind of hyper-focus kind of thing and get a week's worth of stuff for three or four classes done in only a few days. I am the antithesis of a workaholic normally, though.
Fortunately we don't get very much, but it always could be less. The math teacher always gives us a lots of homework, but the English teacher never. Actually I don't have many work at home for school, somehow I can learn the stuff at school, and I learn only for bigger tests.
The only homework that I have this year would be doing challenges for (most of the time) Monday and Wednesday's classes (Web Database programming) and every once in a while, doing a little bit of research on something for Web Server Administration. At least that's this semester. Next semester's going to be a bit more busy. D:

We haven't been getting lots of homework, just a couple of papers from Math, and maybe I'd have to read a couple of chapters in the story or book that we're reading. Old one: Flowers for Algernon.
Our math teacher would give us strange tests though...

Four days to code up a Reverse Polish Notation (postfix) calculator app in Java, complete with skins, button sounds, base conversion and bitwise operations. I'm pretty sure if my professor sits down and actually reads the code, he would facepalm so hard at the complete lack of optimization and organization.
Now that it's done, please excuse me while I go pass out in a corner from exhaustion.
