When I first joined it took me a while to remember all of the names (although back on I3 there were many more active members). Sometimes I still get confused about who someone is after they change their name .

Seeing that most of one's exploits are just a couple of clicks away, and seeing that several people change their names frequently, you don't really have to remember their names as much as you have to remember who they are.

When it comes to names, all you really have to remember is that the "k" is not capitalized, the "200" is obligatory, and the first syllable is pronounced like "pearl", not "pear", as it has no relation to the fruit.

Don't worry about the names too much, you'll learn them and get used to the numerous name changes that some people get.

As for me, when FirePhoenix was Dead Master, for some reason I confused him with BMF (Gunstar Green), probably because their name colours are similar (I could distinguish Colin, who was much more active at I1). I'd also mix up Peardian and Pandaren.

People confused me with Schala a while back, when her layout was more similar to mine. I wonder if anyone confuses my username with Tarale's or Tei-la's. Especially since Tarale and I have the same first name as well

History lesson: If you're confused by the I1, I2, I3 stuff, keep in mind that a lot of us came from a place called "Acmlm's Board" which had 3 incarnations.
Incarnation 1 (I1): January 2001 to March 2004
Incarnation 2 (I2): March 2004 to November 2005
Incarnation 3 (I3): November 2005 to February 2007

After that, the board split into Acmlm's Board II (now board2) and ||board (which no longer exists). Later, Acmlm's Board II split into board2 (still around) and Jul (here). So, I look like a newbie with my registration date, but I actually returned from a super-long absence, as I was at I1 and I2
