Well, you may have heard of it before, but I am creating Super Mario 64 #2 Ultra Challenge. It's more than half-way done at this point. in the current version (V.1.7) You can only play as Luigi, but in the final version you can play as both Bros. and have some palette swappers.

I haven't played it, but you could work a little bit on the textures that you put into the game, because they don't look that great.

(For example, Luigi's face for the HUD, and the Thwomp picture..)
