It's 5 times and you're IP banned. That's why I never log out/keep a big list of passwords on the compy.

In high school, some of the advanced classes had shared E-mail accounts, 1 account for 20 students or so. One day, they took us all into the computer lab and people tried logging in with the wrong passwords, locking all of us out for 15 minutes or whatever

I just take my laptop to school/work/vacation/etc.

My school uses a shared IP for the whole school, AFAIK, so someone could try to log into Jul with the wrong password from school to IP ban me from Jul from school

Does the IP ban page still have a Pong game on it? I was never IP banned, but I remember someone mentioning it at Acmlm's.
