I've never chewed gum past age 10. Might have chewed it before then, but now it's just not something I use.
So besides this so-called thinking enhancement (and flavor), what reasons do you people have to chew gum? (Because I don't know why you enjoy it, I just know you enjoy it)

I never really chewed gum a lot until late last year. Now, I chew it whenever I have some with me. Speaking of which, I need to try to get some more soon.

I do it so I don't munch while at work.

Ok, hunger control. That's one thing that might help a person out(although I should have remembered that from the start of the thread), any other reasons that it's a good idea to chew gum? I'm thinking relaxant, but I wouldn't use it for that.

It isn't quite gum...but I don't know the English word for what it actually is, neither...but grape HiChew is the very best thing in the entire world. It makes my breath smell grapey... I also tried this type of gum called Bubblicious over here recent. It was a tropical punch flavor, it lasted a long time and it was so so so good. I recommend it for the people who like fruity things!!

I used to chew a lot of gum when I was younger; nowadays, not so much anymore.

That reminds me of that one time when I accidentally fell asleep with a lot of gum inside my mouth.. when I woke up, at first I didn't realize it was gum and thought I bit out a huge part of my cheek while I was asleep ..

I don't know what sort of gum that even is...but I did have a cherry gum with a liquid center. It was kind of sour and the flavor didn't last very long...but it was good for the short while that it did.

Winterfresh. Love this Gum.

In the past, it helped me quit smoking, but I had dating problems so I started back.

Gum and therapy helps quit smoking. I, for one, do not plan on quitting smoking anytime soon. Unless it's for a girl, and the girl I know now does not mind!

I never really liked the gum that had something in the middle.

In our region we have a nice ice cream which is wonderful. The best thing is, once you've eaten the ice cream, you can use the stick that's left as a chewing gum.

I pretty much only buy that ice cream for the gum at the end.

There is a flavor burst with some of those gums with liquid centers, but... it feels so unnatural. Kinda like that candy which had the liquid center... Gushers?

That really sounds familiar to what I had when I was younger.

But I might be thinking of an ice cream that had gum at the bottom of it.

All we have here is ice cream with gum chunks in it.

I chew gum roughly once every three months these days, but I do enjoy it. Spearmint flavored gum, in particular, has always been a favorite.

Anyway, I got my first pack of gum today in a few months: Spearmint Stride gum. The flavor seems to linger rather than last, but it's still pretty good.
