Anyone ever use this? I've been a little desperate for college cash lately so I signed up about a month ago. So far, from gas alone I've gotten $1.14, but that's without even trying. And considering that it is gas cash back, I'm happy.
If you've never heard of it, this is a legitimate service. You're not constantly spammed, and you actually do earn money back without paying anything. It's really just a question of whether you think earning pennies on the dollar if worth signing up on a website for. I figure every little bit helps.
Basically, it's sign up on the site, register any shopper's cards, credit/debit cards you want, (not necessary to do this, there's other option on there) and automatically recieve cash back whenever you shop at certain stores. It's like a Giant Eagle card, but for a lot more, including gas. I guess it's possible to save a lot if you are the coupon clipper sort of person and/or have a lot of family and friends who are willing to sign up. (family and friends who aren't attending college can choose to have their savings transfer to you.)
Anyway, I just heard about this sweepstakes they're having until the end of August in order to recruit new members. Anyone who signs up through this link and installs turbosaver (a free add-on for firefox/IE which can later be uninstalled) automatically recieves $2 in ther account, as well as gets me $2. They are also automatically entered into a $10,000 sweepstakes.
Not trying to force this down anyone's throat or anything, but if it sounds like something you'd already be interested in signing up for, I'd appreciate it if you signed up using my referral link. I might not be getting much money from this, but every little bit helps.
Or, if you've heard bad things about this service, by all means let me know so I can GTFO.
