So I'm sitting at the computer for practically 3 days straight trying to get a month's worth of online coursework done to get it out of the way. I stop for a minute to think as I lean back in my chair.

Big mistake. What happens? As I lean back in my chair, the damn thing snaps in half! I mean, I know it's an old piece of crap that I've needed to replace for a while, but come on!

So now I'm sitting on my sister's pink poofy vanity chair until I can get me some monies. At least now I have something to tell people that they can get me for my birthday.

Happened to me a few years back with a crappy old office chair. I lived with a wooden dining chair until I could get a real one again.

That MAXXDADDY looks very comfortable.

Can't say that I've had that happen to me.

I did have someone pull a chair out from under me. Course this was in elementary school.

I hate chairs like this. They just feel so rickety. D:

I think I want one... Although I do agree with Supakitsune that they always seem rickety.

Eh, doesn't match my room. Give me something red, black, or burgundy that is either gothic or japanese looking and then we'll talk. Plus, that thing looks cheap. I want a throne dammit! I gotta pimp out my evil lair where I'm secretly using my computer to take over the world.

I weigh 115 lbs.

But I break the back of every chair I sit in.

What the heck do I do to the chair to make it break like that?!?!

5'9ish. On the edge below 5'10".

Michael Jackson only weighed 10 pounds less than me, and was about the same height.

And it is true--the chairs I break seem to fail not in the back itself, but the bolts must be made out of junk, because they like to snap.

Same except I broke the wheels of the chair and it would no longer stand up. I hate Dining Chairs now...

Yikes. Sounds like you'd fit right in with a bunch of The World Ends With You characters.

Yeah. All I need is a baseball helmet and a bat and I resemble the Scout.

Well, the mustache would have to go to really fit it perfectly, but, you know.

But do you have the stretchiness?

Depends on what you mean. If I stretched more often I'd be very flexible--I can do some crazy stuff as it is, though.

Although I can't double jump, since that defies physics.

It really isn't weight as much as it is how forceful you are with it... if you rock it around a lot (leaning back, getting up and sitting back down, etc) you're going to wear it out faster than you would just sitting down. You can wreck pretty much any chair that way.

I say this because I've broken about as many chairs as the 11 year old in this house (about 3)

I broke a couple of my grandma's old dining room chairs by leaning on them wrong, but they were pretty old and a bit wobbly to begin with. And I weighed like, 200 at the time. After the second one, I had to use a metal folding chair for several months.

Now I just use a cheapo Target office chair. I should probably order a nicer, more comfortable one, but meh, this one shouldn't break since I'm skinnier, now. :3

I've had this for like 6 years, thing's a beast and I love it. It's not leather so you don't stick, and the wooden arms aren't big and bulky masses of lame.

It has a nice natural creak, and every few months the squeal kicks back in, but nothing some liquid wrench won't fix fast.
