| Here are those details I promised a while back. They pertain only to what happens after everyone merges, and in chronological order. These are only the basic ideas, and I'll get work on the specifics once I get some feedback and everything gets finalized Bear in mind, I wrote this up somewhat hastily while being quite tired, so I may have made a few mistakes: Stein's Laboratory - The Final Battle? The team converges at the one place where Stein is most likely to be...His lab. Once they get in, they meet a fair amount of resistance, but not as much as expected for was might be the final area. Apparently, Stein never expected his army to let too much resistance even get to this point. After only a single level's length, they find Stein and a group of kidnapped scientists working on a device. An exchange of dialogue (This might be where Stein's true motive is revealed) and a fairly underwhelming battle with follows, and Stein winds up wounded and dying. Is the day saved? Not quite; Before he dies, von Meister storms in with a group of Stein's drones and escapes with Stein and the device to his "fortress". Before our heroes chase after them, though, they find an experimental weapon that any character can use which is basically like the Flash Stopper. (Note: Stein doesn't become a cyborg until you meet him again after this fight; hence why he's fairly weak when you fight him) Plan B: Possibly the idea of having a sort of anti-climax boss isn't too appealing, so we could give him something along the lines of a small mech to fight with to make the fight a bit more challenging. Of course, the entire area is supposed to be a false anti-climax, so I would prefer going with the original idea. Meister Citadel - Regarding Multiple Endings and Other Stuff This is a 5-stage fortress that has already been partially described by Cirvante, but there are a few important plot points that take place here. First of all, once they get to von Meister, they discover that Stein and the device was sent to Stein's secret base, and the only person who isn't already there that knows where it is would be von Meister. Second of all, the Flash Stopper-like weapon found in Stein's Lab plays an important part in the von Meister fight, as wether or not you use it affects the boss fight and ultimately the ending. Not using it during the boss fight causes the bad ending, as von Meister gets killed without telling anybody the base's location. (Stein becomes immortal, proceeds to take over the world, blah blah blah) Using it during the boss fight triggers a different boss fight, and this allows von Meister to tell our heroes the location of Stein's secret base. (Read Cirvante's "jul-game_ideas.txt" for more info on this) Once they find out that it's at the bottom of the ocean, they take the submarine from Kasua's levels down to confront Stein yet again. Stein's Fortress - Endgame First of all, a little on the place's design. Basically, it's an inverted tower, going deep underground with only a small entrance above ground; of course, even that entrance is at the bottom of the ocean. It runs on geothermal energy, so there can be lava, if people want it. It's also not exactly finished, hence why Stein wasn't hiding out there before. There are also a bunch of kidnapped scientists in here as well, so they can't simply blow it up and be done with it. Anyway, it consists of 5 levels, each one ending with a unique boss. I'm only going to talk about the final level, which consists of only a boss; Stein. Stein has two forms. The first one is his cyborg form. Obviously, he turned himself into a cyborg because of the wounds he sustained, but this also gives him a fighting chance. I'll get into the details later, but let's just say that he has a lot more than a prosthetic arm and leg. Once he's defeated, he stumbles off into the next room and tests the incomplete immortality device on himself. Well, it somewhat works; he is very powerful now, but he isn't quite immortal. Other than that, though, no details have been worked out. So, yeah I'm getting tired, so I think I'll just leave it at that for now. If this doesn't take any established idea into consideration, please let me know. Input is quite necessary for me to produce a useful .txt like everybody else. |

| It'd be pretty hard to sum up everything that's been going on in the past few weeks, but I could make a .txt of the Moonedit file if nobody wants to grab the program. I suppose I could mention that Sukasa is getting to work on the level editor for the game at the moment, though. After all, that's a vital component for completing this game. |

| Well in order to actually have the game ready to release we will need to have at least some form of finalized sprites made ready. So perhaps a first starting character along with some of the enemies that he or she will encounter? (Unless you already did THAT...)
