Also ... not all the Apple stores are quite that bad. Some of them are staffed by morons. Some have competent employees, though. I've been to only three different locations and two were good but one was horribly bad.

But yeah. There was a huge batch of MacBook/Pros that were shipped with bad video boards (thank Intel or nVidia for that. Apple was doing free replacements of the components for a while.)
